Ms. Rose will be away from school, so no ROC classes will be held on Tue – May 15, Thurs – May 17, Tues – May 22. See you on Thursday May 24.
I understand there’s testing going on throughout the district. If you feel it’s important to rest to prepare please go ahead and do what you need to do. My calendar for May has many holes… May classes are 1, 3, 8, 10, 24, 29, 31 NO LESSONS on MAY 15, 17, 22 Please mark you calendars. My focus for all classes is learning 6 songs for our String Extravaganza. So students must spend more time on those songs that we work on in class. I will work with the students that show up.
ROC Camp will run from 8:00-11:30 from JULY 16 -20 ending with a concert at Sno-Valley Senior Center. The cost is $25. Camp location is CE Music Room next to the Gym.

Did you know there is a children’s fiddle group right here in Carnation? Well, Ms. Rose has put together a select group of student who have put in many hours to get ready to perform. We open tonight at Slider’s Cafe in Hwy 203 from 6:00-7:00. And then, Tuesday May 1st come join in the fun at Carnation’s Farmer’s Market Opening Day Festivities and Maypole and flowers and treats for the whole family. We will perform on Tuesday from 3:45 – 5:30. Hope to see you there.
